I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX) in Mar 2019
Interview
Applied from a non-target university. Heard back from a recruiter 3 weeks later wanting to schedule an on-site. From a list of days available I chose my top 3 and had the on-site scheduled for 4 weeks later. Flight + hotel + Lyft + food stipend were 100% covered by C1.
When you arrive on campus, you are taken to your own room where you will have all of your interviews. There's a lounge area where you can hang out and get snacks/refreshments in between interviews or during you break. The interviews consist of three rounds: behavioral, technical and case. Surprisingly, the behavioral portion was the hardest as the interviewer did not seem to be in the best of moods that day. Make sure to follow the STAR method with every answer and you should be fine. Technical was easier than expected and I definitely over-prepared, but I highly recommend studying all the questions posted here (which you can also find on Leetcode) just in case. Case was a bit scary at first but just talk through the problem with the interviewer and they'll help you get to the answer. After the interviews are done you are given a tour of the campus and taken to lunch (not part of the interview).
Recruiter called to tell me they were giving me the offer the next morning and I had the contract in my email a couple of hours later. Overall, the most pleasant and professional experience I've had with a recruiter and interview process.

Applied online and got an onsite for the next week. Questions were the same as the ones mentioned previously for this job. Received a rejection the week after, could not get any feedback out of it.
