I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Leeds, England) in Nov 2012
Interview
You have to print off an application form from their website, they only hand out so many in store. You have to hit the mark of 19 correct answers to get interviewed i think. Then, they will call you if you get an interview (you won't get a call if you weren't successful so you're just sat waiting). They have their own set of interview questions they ask and you get scored if you get them correct in the interview, also, some scenario questions. Then, they will call you if you got the job or not. The interview lasts up to half an hour.

Question 1
What words would you say best describes good customer service?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Co-op (Haydon Bridge, England) in Jan 2011
Interview
Really easy amd basic interview, went over some typical questions about what you wrote on the form, availability and such. Then about your background. There was then two scenario based questions asked 1) you get a customer complaint about the bakery how do you handle this? I can't remember the other but they were customer based, the interviewer was ticking words that I must have said, I think I had to say five things I would do to resolve the problem. I had 20 minutes before the interview took place to review the scenario which was written down and given to me along with a piece of paper. It was very easy. They then went over the formalities of pay and holidays and policy. I passed the Interview and got the job, they were really friendly. I wore a smart/casual dress and as it was a food retail job I wore my hair up and no nail varnish.

Question 1
What do you think is important to a customer shopping in store?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Cambridge, East of England, England) in Aug 2013
Interview
The hiring and interview process for me was a very simple one as I had previously done work experience within the store. Consequently they knew me so the interview process was a little less formal. However initially in my interview for the work experience it was more formal and I was asked the general questions such as, why I want to work there and what I know about the Co op
