I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Co-op (Southend-on-Sea, England) in Aug 2015
Interview
Relaxed and informal. I think if you have worked in retail the interview would be extremely easy but a lot of questions could be answered with a little common sense even if you haven't.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Co-op in Apr 2014

The hiring process was fantastic only took a fews weeks to get back to me to invite me to a interview which was quite easy, Also the interviewer was very nice. I did have some help from one of my friends for the interview so i knew all of the questions. but you probaly won't this lucky!
preffers the application form method. however a cv with it really helps. Dont ask for a certain amount of hours you get given 10 but with work 30-50 hours depending so if you become ill your screwed. you will get a call from the DM or supervisor about when to come for an interveiw then it is just a general chat and a questionaire to fill out
