I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Manchester, England) in Oct 2018
Interview
* Online application
* Initial telephone interview
* Homework development task (build a small web application / component)
* Formal panel interview
Interview was cordial, but was informed "We'll be in touch in a few days." -
Despite this, Co-op did not bother to get back in touch which I took as a poor reflection of the company.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Co-op (Bala, Wales) in May 2018
Interview
Very easy, quick and informal setting in the staff room. The interviewer was polite and understanding, and that he was willing to help the interviewee. Then after 30 minutes from the interview I got a call saying I got the job.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Co-op (Stoke-on-Trent, England)
Interview
Long-winded with embarrassing questions being asked. Two online tests followed by a phone interview with a lovely woman, followed by a face-to-face interview. Please don't ask a gay man to explain to two white straight men that he should prove that he respects individuality...
