I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deel (London, England) in Apr 2021
Interview
I was approached by a Recruiter for this role. Interesting one here is that they shout about the fact they expect 20 deals a month, super transactional.
A couple of phone calls I had submitted the required work and was scheduled for a call with a Co-founder. Echoing other reviews, the CRO here is clearly not particularly experienced and is clearly trying make up for it with guff and aggression.
After positive feedback and assurances I was ghosted, as was the recruiter. A business clearly focused on hyper growth, not their team.
NOTE: In the UK, I was told at the end that all sales people are brought on board as CONTRACTORS. No benefits, no holiday. Basically you're taking a 10% salary hit off the bat.

Question 1
Traditional sales questions, very vague, a lot around asking if I had the attitude to work as hard as possible to make the company succeed, despite no equity.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Deel in Jan 2021
Interview
Product may have potential, but warning to my fellow EMEA sales professionals, the CRO here is very inexperienced. Should you take a role here I would be concerned about the success of this company under the current leadership.
CRO clearly has never been in sales before and does not understand how to run a sales cycle let alone lead a sales team. Questions asked were vague and non sensical, she half listened to answers given and incorrectly repeated back what I said and threw out random sales jargon.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deel (New York, NY) in Feb 2021
Interview
I found this position through a recruiter. I interviewed with a senior sales manager. He was pretty blunt and to the point in asking about my general background while detailing Deel's fast paced sales cycle. He ghosted my followup emails along with my recruiter's followup emails. Judging from prior reviews, this seems to be accepted practice at the company.
