Interview
The interview process was very smooth. In total I had 5 rounds. 1. The first one was an introductory one with an HR representative. The aim was to know the company, explore the role and may previous experiences and skills. 2. It was a technical round with the Hiring Manager focused on DevOps + Security. He helped me with the tech stack of the company and what are the expectations for the role and then some technical questions about DevOps security best practices and k8s/container security and my previous work. We also discussed some points on cloud security. 3. The third round was more in-depth on security with the Security Head. We discussed infra-security, WAF, DDoS, discussed on past projects. We discussed how I have handled some challenges when it comes to democratizing security across the company. 4. The fourth round was with CTO. It was also the culture fitment round. We discussed on my alignment with the mission of the company and what value points I bring with me. Overall, all the people I interacted with, I loved talking. All were very calm and all were very receptive and all rounds were more of a discussion format and not just questions and answeres.
