Interview
4 rounds total.: 1 - HR, 2 - take home assignment, 3 - tech team, 4 - culture fit. The interviews & take home assignment where pretty easy, with a lot of focus on concurrency and the issues that arise with using it. The people were friendly and nice. Everything was well organized.

Interview Process
Scheduling Issues:
The hiring manager did not attend the initially scheduled interview and did not offer any apology for the missed appointment.
Rescheduled Interview:
When the interview was finally rescheduled, the hiring manager seemed disinterested, which may have been influenced by the time zone difference between London and the US.
Prolonged Process:
The overall interview process was extended by an additional two weeks without clear communication or updates.
Lack of Coordination:
There appeared to be a disconnect within the company, with different teams not effectively communicating or coordinating with each other.
Global Aspirations vs. Reality:
Despite aiming to be a global company, the experience suggested challenges in operating seamlessly across regions.
The experience was disappointing, especially from a company that positions itself as forward-thinking and globally integrated. There seems to be room for improvement in their hiring process and internal communication to truly reflect their global ambitions.

Tell me about your integration strategy at a past role
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Deel in Sep 2024
Interview
I had a total of 6 interviews, met with the hiring manager twice and the rest was Team leader, head of, director of CS. There was a home assigment that took 2 days to do. The interviews were all the same questions over and over, there is no communication. The time in between interviews was short, but after I met with the last manager I was ghosted for 2 weeks and had to send an email. After getting the "The decision is pretty made from our end on your favor" on my last 2 interviews, I just received a generic rejection email.
In the interview they already tell you that you'll need to work more than 8 hours a day without pay, that it's a very demanding job and that it's not "your typical 9 to 5". Also they indirecly asked me if i had kids and about my personal situation, as they wanted someone that could be exploided lol
