I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Washington, DC)
Interview
1. Initial Point of Contact, Recruiter Contacted Me.
2. Several days later, phone interview with a hiring manager.
3. A few days after that, a second interview with another hiring manager.
4. The next week, they flew me out to Washington DC for a face to face interview. They purposely pool candidates for different jobs together to give the impression that you are all interviewing for the same position, and then they take you to a small meeting room where you are interviewed by a number of people. I was interviewed by three people -- Another Senior Consultant (Technical Interview), a Hiring Manager (Case Interview), and a Director (Personality Interview). Very friendly people who are knowledgeable in their field.
Turnaround time for a position was very quick -- they got back to me within 24 hours.

Question 1

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Rosslyn, VA) in Jan 2012
Interview
phone interview with recruiter followed by 3 hour long face-face interview with 5 interviewers
there seemed to be disconnect amongst in the process, so all of them ended up asking similar questions at the end of it I was tired of answereing them again and again.
The interviewers seemed to be in rush and very clearly appeared that they have other interviewes to take so wanted to just get over "it". The questions were very very basic, for the senior role I was expecting more in-depth questions.

Question 1
all the interviewers were very generic that kind of gave the insight into the mediocrity prevelant in the organization.
