Do you have any experience in sales?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Charlotte, NC) in May 2016
Interview
The interview process in essentially broken down into 4 stages.
STAGE 1: after applying online I am contacted by a recruiter who schedules a phone interview. This interview is very easy and asking simple compency based questions and basically just getting to know you. This stage lasted 15 minutes roughly. One tip I would give is always ask what the next stage of the process is and they'll tell you at that point directly - if you're successful. After asking I arranged a face to face interview with the same recruiter I spoke to.
STAGE 2: I turned up at the regional office ahead of schedule. Whilst I was waiting I spoke to a few passing people who worked for the company - I later found out that the recruiter was secretly watching to see how I would engaged with those people (if you can engage with them you can engage with customer so talk to EVERYONE, don't be shy or you won't succeed). This interview was basically the same as the phone interview, ask sales related and customer service questions whilst asking me to describe my weakness ect. The key is showing confidence as that is the main thing they look for. For me this lasted 20 minutes. Again after asking the next steps I was told then I would be getting an interview with the area manager.
STAGE 3: As with the majority of the other reviews this is the make or break interview and definitely the hardest. You shadow employees at the branch where you will see what you'll do on a daily basis which is primary customer service and sales with high competitiveness. This role isn't for everyone but if you're willing to work hard the career progression is faster that most companies. After shadowing you have a face to face with the area manager. They want you to sell yourself and show them you're confident in your own abilities and talking to people. Most questions were about your previous experience listed on your resumes and focusing on customer service and sales experience in particular - you have the opportunity to ask questions which I would strongly recommend doing. These questions consisted of giving examples from your own experience. Speaking to the area manager lasted 15 and I was offered the next step which was interviewing with the area manager.
STAGE 4: This is more of a fomality in all honesty. If you've gotten this far it's yours to throw away. Exact same questions as the previous stage - all customer service and sales related questions. This lasted 20 minutes I was offered the job there and then.
Always ask questions and be confident in yourself and you'll do fine
