I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2012
Interview
I used several different platforms to initiate communication with EPIC. I followed the company on LinkedIn, attended a recruiting session (on campus), and found a job posting that I applied to. The initial phone interview involved mostly behavioral questions to better understand my background and expectations of the role I was applying for. (This didn't feel like an interview. It was a pleasant conversation regarding my experiences and the company). Next, I was asked to complete an assessment at a campus testing center. This test consisted of several sections (logic, reading, and math I believe). After the assessment, I was contacted a week later for an on-site interview. EPIC has a lot of resources that go into their recruiting process. I must say that I enjoyed the whole process. They pay for flight, hotel, dinner, and transportation. They have an EPIC employee take you out to dinner in a group setting to learn about Madison. The interview process involved a tour of the campus, several 1 on 1 interviews with different people, a small case study, and a presentation on a topic of my choice. It was very clear from the interview that EPIC is very horizontally structured. The work environment is very transparent, and I would imagine that the work done is very collaborative in nature.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interviews were segmented by topic: managerial, case study, and behavioral. I would say I was surprised by one question in the behavioral: "What are 5 things that you are NOT?"
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI)
Interview
The hardest aspect of the on site interview is the length. Get a good nights sleep beforehand and take advantage of the snacks.
The other reviews are really spot on with the questions, many being the exact same or very close in that if you prepare for the questions noted on glassdoor you will have an arsenal of experiences, strengths, weaknesses to draw upon.

Question 1
They picked specific references and asked what they would personally say are your weaknesses
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Jan 2013
Interview
Once you submit your application you will take a personality test, I'm not sure how much this affects your chances of getting the job. Then about 1-2 weeks later you will have a phone interview. It is short, 20-30 minutes and not too difficult. A week later you will be contacted about the next step. For some people the next step is the on-site interview, and for other people the next step is a math/logic/grammar/programming test. Some people do that test during the on-site interview, I'm not sure how they decide if they want you to take it before or not. The on-site day includes several 1:1 interviews, a case study interview, and a presentation. It isn't as exhausting as some reviews on here say it is. I actually had fun during the on-site visit. About 10 days later I received an offer.

Question 1
You have to have three references, and my interviewer asked me what each reference would say I don't do well.
