I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
it was ok but the process can be difficult and time consuming which was not nice , the skill assessment test would determine if you move forward or not, it had coding and the HR told me it wasn’t a difficult test just to know me better lies
Long, arduous, and annoying, I wasn’t interested in pursuing anything further with the company after the fact. No amount of cool campus things can make me want to return to an office.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2022
Interview
It’s an interview day, so be ready to be there for anywhere from 3-5 hours depending on how many positions you are being considered for. There are presentation sections, where current employees detail a company overview and then position overviews from a program manager. You then have a 45 minute Case Study where they give you a blurb about a hospital and you have to say what the problems are and how you would solve them — from what they said this is more about learning how you approach problems than being a correct or not answer, since it would depend on other factors and there are many ways to solve most things, a 10 minute presentation (can be about literally ANYTHING you want) and then a more typical recruiter interview which lasted for me about 45 minutes.
