Multi-step interview process. Only had the initial phone interview. Just asked basic questions about what my goals were and why I was interested in epic. I think I could have made it to the next stage if I prepared myself better. Overall nothing too crazy.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Phone Screen, Skills Assessment Test, On-Site Interview. Quick to move through and good experience overall. Skills Assessment test was a bit more challenging than I was expecting without receiving much guidance on how to prepare and what was going to be assessed.

Question 1
General interview questions during the phone screen, was very casual and pleasant. However, the Skills Assessment exam was much more in depth about practical knowledge including math, reading comprehension, and logic. Although I did not make it past that step, I am aware that the next round includes an on-site interview at their offices in Madison, WI.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Begins with a brief phone interview (15-30 mins), concurrent with a skills assessment (proctored via a 3rd party company, 2-3 hours), and a Rembrandt personality test.
The next step is an on-site interview. The company flies you out to Madison, where you participate in a "super-day" that lasts roughly 6 hours. Includes a case study, 10-minute presentation on a topic of your choice, and a series of 1-on-1 interviews. I found this step extremely enjoyable - Epic makes a real effort to impart on you the company's culture and acclimate you to the campus.
