I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Mar 2014
Interview
After I submitted my application, they followed up with a 30 minute phone interview. The interview was more of a conversation and I felt very comfortable answering the questions she asked. We went over my resume and she verified my work experience. This was probably the easiest part of any Epic Systems interview. After this portion, I was invited to take the online test.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience working at (fill in the blank). What was one issue you faced and how did you resolve it?
some assessments and then a phone screening. The assessments were pretty hard as you had to learn a coding language that doesn't exist. Logic/reasoning part was only somewhat difficult because of the amount of time they give you to complete the assessment. I think i did well on the reasoning but the coding part I bombed. I think I didn't make it through the phone screening because I was awkward and didn't ask enough questions.
The first step was a phone screen to talk with someone currently filling the role. The next step was to take some online exams. Finally I was brought on site to participate in a full day of interviews and company overviews. Overall it was a positive experience.
