I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2020
Interview
Employees were helpful throughout the process, the interview was quick and covered the usual questions as well as some more interesting ones, but no major curveballs. Interviewer was kind and gave me a very good first impression of the company, and any questions I had were responded to quickly.

Question 1
What are you hoping to gain from your employment here?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2020
Interview
I applied in March 2020 right before COVID-19 was declared a pandemic. First, I had a simple phone screen. Then, I took an online skills test with a proctor via video. After that, the company was still interested and asked me to complete another application for some reason and email a list of referrals. I was invited to an on-campus interview that unfortunately was changed to virtual. It seemed like HR was disorganized when communicating via email about the application process. Their email system seemed outdated in my browser. Emails also contained inconsistencies regarding the hiring process. I figured they were going through a lot of changes due to COVID-19. The virtual interview had many current Epic employees observing or involved. All were friendly, knowledgeable, very positive and encouraging. I thought I would get an offer after a great 3 hour virtual interview and almost 3 month interview process, but did not get one. Instead, I got a voicemail. The recruiter did not return my phone call asking for feedback. I invested a lot of time into the interview process and would have appreciated open communication with the recruiter instead of a voicemail.
Following submission of your application, you will be contacted to complete skills assessments and a phone interview, after which they may schedule a second/in-person interview, and one more (I believe) before an offer is extended

Question 1
This is just for the skills assessment. It was definitely not easy breezy by any means, but I am hoping that it is not heavily weighted in the interview process. There is a 2 minute section where you have to do math questions. It is entirely possible that they were just logic questions with their answers in the question, but it did not seem that way. I'll say get handy with doing word problems quickly, calculators are allowed as well.
