Very quick response. First, they conduct a phone interview then a skills assessment. Both are scheduled at your convenience. After is an in-person interview in WI. If selected they make an offer for the desired position.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Epic in Apr 2020
Interview
The a phone call, then an invitation to online examination. The exam consists of 3 parts: math and logic assessment, coding assessment, then learning a new coding language syntax. You will be proctored during the process. After I finished, I got the results after a week and didn't pass. No score or whatsoever provided.
I applied online. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Mar 2020
Interview
I was surprised to hear back almost immediately from Epic, and they wanted a phone interview. The phone interview was barely an interview. The guy just asked me a few simple questions about a project of my choosing, and he talked about Epic for a while. The next step was the technical assessment. Its a test that takes several hours and is pretty difficult. There's a proctor watching you the entire time. I've never encountered anything else that time-consuming and rigorous that early on in the interview process. I apparently failed because several days later I got the "Thanks for the interest but we're pursuing other candidates" email.
