I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
The interview process was reasonably intense, a full day affair. The first half of the day was mostly one on one interviews with individuals in the role I was interviewing for. They asked fairly basic questions just to make sure you had a pulse. After lunch, someone from HR put me in a room for hours of pen and paper testing. One test was a series of questions where new features of an obscure language are introduced and then questions are asked that require one to integrate this new features with previously learned features. Additionally there was a sheet with 10 math problems and you have to solve as many as possible in 2 minutes. Finally there were 5 programming problems, that you have to write pseudocode to solve.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Oct 2013
Interview
Process took about a month. I applied online and then was contacted by an HR representative to participate in a phone interview. Phone interview lasted about 30 minutes and was fairly simple, just going over my resume and background. Then I was told to take a few online assessments. They were pretty typical and included a personality assessment and a couple others that resembled SAT/ACT questions. After passing that phase I was invited onsite for a day of interviews. I had 2 interviews, one with a recruiter and one with a technical services employee. Be prepared to ask the general interview questions, as well as completing a few case studies. After the onsite I heard back about a week later.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2013
Interview
I found Epic at a job fair at my college, handed them my resume, and took an assessment test the following day (since they were testing people on campus that day). About two weeks later I received an email asking when I would be available for a phone interview. A technical services employee called me and conducted a low stress interview asking general questions about why I want to work at Epic, and such. He was very kind and answered all my questions I had about Epic and the technical services role. The next stage is awaiting to see if they will invite me to Madison, WI to conduct an in-person interview. Previously doing some research, I noticed that they usually let you know within two week after the phone interview whether or not you've made it to the next step of the interviewing process. So far, I have high hopes!
