I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Nov 2019
Interview
Very casual and relaxed. Got back to my online application within 24 hours inviting me to a phone interview. This was a super casual 30 min chat with a young employee. He mostly just wanted to hear about my background, and then talked about his role and working at Epic, no real “interview” questions. This was followed by an online skills/coding assessment which has challenging but fine. On-site interview was a full day but not stressful as everyone was laid back and nice
I was asked to complete a phone interview which was pretty standard. Before I did the phone interview I completed the skills assessment test (from what I read online this order is usually reverse). I was rejected from the Technical Solutions role but they asked me to complete an onsite interview for the Quality Assurance Tester position.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Nov 2019
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter through my college. I applied right away and was asked for a phone interview within about a week, a few days after that I was asked to complete an online skills assessment. Within a week of completing that I was asked to do an on-site interview. They flew me out to Madison and the on-site interview lasted about 5 hours, most of it was learning about the company and then I had 2 short interviews( a case study interview and a recruiter interview) I was also asked to complete a programming assessment after being invited out for the on-site. I received an offer 3 days after my on-site. It was a great experience and not stressful at all. The assessments were a little tough but they are mostly just looking to see how you problem solve.
