FedEx interview questions

It wasn't much of an interview actually. I was applying for a part-time NIGHT position so I went in and the all the interviewer did was ask me a few basic questions and then proceeded to give me the background of FedEx and that this position was physically demanding, which I was okay with. She then proceeded to take me on a tour of the warehouse which lasted approx. 30 mins. What a waste of time!! I think she felt that I was going to quit after because I was a student. She was basically implying this. Why bother to call me in then? I was clearly listed on my resume that I was enrolled in post-secondary and that I applied for this out of convenience for the hours. I thought that's what they wanted. Anyways I strongly felt that I did a good job for the interview and I was qualified for the work. I also felt that my time was wasted by going through this tour. Please save that for after you hire someone because it's a waste of my time and YOUR productivity.

It was pretty basic interview... Do you have a pulse?, Can you lift 50lbs or more unassisted?, Why do you want to work here?, Describe a challenge you have faced in the past? The Human Recorce people are pretty friendly, take you on a tour of the hub, then you go back and apply for the job on their computers, and after all that they give you an interview. The human recorces people don't really do any actual package handling and don't have a good grasp of who is going to last or actually be able to perform the jobs.
