The process took 2 days. I interviewed at FedEx Office (El Segundo, CA) in Jan 2011
Interview
There were 2 interviews. One at a job fair and a followup at the store. The second interview was with two store managers. They were professional yet created a relaxed environment. Behavioral questions were asked pertaining to the position. The managers were looking for balance in my life so they asked about what I do when not working.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was a deadline you could not meet and how did you communicate it to your supervisor.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at FedEx Office in Sep 2009
Interview
Applied online. Quick initial phone screening to setup an interview time. The interview itself consisted of two managers firing off questions. Most were fairly basic, for example "Have you ever dealt with an angry customer?" The company appears to provide a list of questions as they were reading them from a sheet of paper. The interview itself did not take a very long time, perhaps 20 minutes.
After the personal interview, there was a followup phone interview by an HR rep. This interview was actually fairly detailed, and I wish I had prepared for it. The interviewer repeated many typical interview questions, but also asked questions like "What do you feel you need to be better prepared to start with the company?" "What do you hope this company offers?" and a few HR benefit questions like, "What sort of benefits are you interested in?".

Question 1
HR Interviewer asked questions such as "What do you expect from this company?" "What do you hope this company offers?" "What would better prepare you for the position?" These were difficult as I did not expect the follow up phone interview to contain questions of this nature.

Interview
I filled out my application and sent the company my resume online. Didn't bother to call and let them know I did so since I figured if they were interested enough, they would call me. One of the managers did a few days later via surprise phone interview. Overall, it was amazing speaking to her. She told me that it would be best to introduce myself personally to the other manager at the location I applied for and give him another copy of my resume. I did so the same day.
Four days later, I went in for my second interview. This time it was in person in which both of the managers interviewed me at the same time. Typically, the interview should last anywhere between 24-60 minutes. Mine lasted the whole hour, which was a first for me. The managers were great interviewers, in my opinion. It was all very professional, but at the same time laid back. Very easy to talk to and made me feel right at home. They asked basic questions, mostly ones that had to do with my own personal view points and whatnot.
