I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner in Jul 2018
Interview
Bait and switch - period.
First step was to have an initial 1 hour call with recruiter, was qualified for 3 roles (let's name them A, B and C), and was given the choice to pick 2. A was the role that I initially applied for so I picked A and B and left C out of the window because I wasn't even interested..
Second step was a conference call for role A with recruiter and her supervisor. Was given specific areas that they would like to know, and how do I see myself fitting in. So I prepared for role A prior to the call, was on the call told that role A was cancelled, they had hired someone for role B and now I only have role C left. Her supervisor never accepted the invite and wasn't even on the call at all.
Not sure why were they setting up interviews if they couldn't even organize themselves properly. Note that this particular recruiter is new to Gartner so we were guessing she was finding targets to waste time and meet KPI.
As a rep in field, this will eventually get back to hurting Gartner's name and is considered highly unprofessional.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner
Interview
Three meetings that consisted of phone screens and a final panel interview. The final interview gave me an opportunity to lead the hiring team through a typical discovery process. Overall, it was an excellent experience with highly professional people.
