I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me to schedule a prescreen within 24 hours of application submission. No response was received to a direct email confirming receipt of invitation to interview or the greenhouse availability submission with instructions to provide 10 business days of availability. 2 weeks later I received an email saying they extended the offer to someone else and they were “sorry the timing didn’t work out”. Recruiters are human, but there are better ways to manage candidate facing comms.

Question 1
please provide blocks of 3 hours or more after 10am PST for the next 5-10 business days.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback on our interview process. Providing a great candidate experience is incredibly important to us and I sincerely apologize for not following through and communicating clearly.
As you mentioned, recruiters are human and make mistakes and we appreciate your understanding. However, your honest feedback helps us make improvements and prevent this from happening again.
Thank you again for your time and for sharing your experience with us. - Cortney Holloway, Talent Acquisition Manager
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor in Feb 2022
Interview
By far the smoothest interview process I've ever been through. The Talent Acquisition Partner was very good at communication and getting back to me quickly. She worked with me to make sure that we had the same career expectations and prepared me before each interview.
Throughout every step of the process, each interviewer was so welcoming and kind. Everyone was very genuine and seemed very happy and excited to be working at Glassdoor. I felt like a part of the family even before the offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were based around my past work experience, how I approach a creative problems, my skillsets, etc. Fairly standard questions for a creative position. There was also a design test with two parts.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about how it felt to interact with Glassdoor as a prospective employee. It validates that the care we put into making candidates feel welcome makes a difference, and that while we may not always get it right, our efforts are well received. I particularly appreciated your recognition of the talent acquisition partner you worked with and can confirm from my own experience of being hired at Glassdoor that her communication style is stellar. I hope you will continue to use our internal Glassdoor tools — from Ask Employees to our Fishbowl company bowl — to share feedback of any kind once you're on board. We take transparency seriously as the first step to improving the experience of our employees and seek feedback every day in real time, not only during review periods. We're so looking forward to your first day. You're going to make a big impact on the team and the future of the Glassdoor brand! - Tim Murray, Creative Director
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Glassdoor (New York, NY)
Interview
Three round interview process, over and done in about a week. Speedy and efficient! Coding test was collaborative and did not feel like impersonal grilling as many tech interviews can.
