The technical interview I had was divided into two parts. The first part focused on questions related to C#/.NET, while the second part involved some live coding, solving a problem at the "easy" level on LeetCode. I found this interview to be quite unusual. Most of the technical questions revolved around C# syntax, and there was no discussion about my work experience or any thought-provoking questions that could showcase my professionalism. This approach might make sense when interviewing a beginner with no experience, but as someone with six years of experience at the time, I struggled to see how questions like the possibility of creating a private interface would demonstrate my expertise. What made the interview even more peculiar was that the interviewers kept their cameras turned off while requesting that I turn mine on. Additionally, they had poor-quality audio headsets, leading to constant background noise and difficulties in communication. I had to ask questions multiple times due to the audio issues, which further added to the challenging experience.
One round of Interview covering all general use cases with code. They asked particularly more on .net core bindings. Azure and related to projects what you mentioned in your resume
I applied online. I interviewed at HARMAN in Mar 2023
Interview
Applied online. Got call from recruiter after a week or so. Normal discussion about the role and the pay and self introduction. Interviewer: "HM has already reviewed your resume and thought you would be a good fit, I just want to have general discussion. Wait for the next steps." Didn't get any reply from the recruiter. Reached out to him but no response at all. Atleast, a reject email is better than nothing. Just wasted my time.
