The hiring process at ING takes an average of 60 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Software Engineer had the quickest hiring process (on average 30 days), whereas Digital Media Specialist roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 90 days).
I applied online. I interviewed at ING (Sydney) in May 2023
Interview
The interview panel is extremely un-professional. I could easily see the body language of the interviewer expressing frustration, with sighs in between, typing something on his laptop, watching the clock, looking at the other panel member as if he was mocking the candidate, and on the top of all that totally out of place questions not related to the role in question. The interviewer was also seen yawning, chatting online etc with his full unprofessional behaviour on display. This is my second experience with these guys and although the panel was different the behaviour and lack of professionalism was common and very evident. It appears that is the part of the organisation culture.

Question 1
The questions were designed for an entry level security person and the interview was for a Senior Risk Manager's role. The questions were asked in a totally unprofessional manner, by someone who claimed has come from Netherlands.
A nice interview process with average questions and nice people, most of the questions are behavioural and not very difficult to answer. I really liked the overall experience, very professional people.
The interview process was very good and smooth. Two interviewers, I was a little bit nervous both interviewer were very relaxed and friendly. They gave offer at the end of the interview.
