I applied online. I interviewed at ING (Bratislava) in May 2021
Interview
There was a 5 minute phone interview at first. They asked basic questions (How do you know ING? Employment gap. Why are you interested in this position? Salary) Then there were 2 rounds of online interviews with an HR manager and a team leader everytime (45 and 15 minutes). The interviewers were very nice.

I applied online. I interviewed at ING (Luxembourg) in Sep 2020
Interview
During covid-19 pandemic I was invited to a phone interview with HR first then with the hiring manager and some team members. Surprisingly they wanted the interview to be on whatsapp or Skype. They asked me to send them a Skype invitation. The interview was very informal. They asked me questions that have nothing to do with the role like what was the last movie I watched and they asked me to describe it. I could see their surprised mocking faces on the camera once I said I watched an Egyptian movie. I asked them about diversity within the Bank and the team; they responded that it is a very diverse environment, there are French and Belgians !!! They made it sound like if they wanted to hire only those nationalities. I had another round with the same people and they asked again the same questions. A week later I got a negative response without amy feedback. There was of course a multiple choice quizz before the interviews. The process was unclear and not very constructive. I wished to have had a constructive feedback instead of some cynical smiles about the fact that I have mentioned something they probably have no idea about and is totally irrelevant for an operational risk role.
