The hiring process at ING takes an average of 60 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Software Engineer had the quickest hiring process (on average 30 days), whereas Digital Media Specialist roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 90 days).
Received a weird email after CV submission. Basically reject my application, but putting it like "they would not continue talking to me for now." (Then, I was sure that ING would definitely consider Dutch-speaking as a must - not a plus)
The recruiter scheduled meeting in just one day notice and with one person but in interview two more person came for interview . All were Indians and asked questions not according to the resume but with the work they do . Specific to tool that they use. It was strange that they want to hear what they already know without going into details what the candidate is trying to convey.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ING
Interview
20 minutes interview, all fit questions. Interviewers were polite during the session. They told me they would get back to me very soon about the results. I waited about a week for a call or email but none came. In the end I had to email them before they told me I was rejected.
Personally I think it would be nice if they bothered dropping an email to inform me about my rejection. Interviewees do take time to prepare even if they don't perform well during the interview, and it would be nice to at least get acknowledged for that.
