Worst interview process I've ever experienced, that said, all the interviewers throughout the process were actually excellent and top notch professionals. This was for a position at Q2, one of their child companies.
Step 1: phone interview with Senior Technical Director (hiring manager)
Step 2 (the next week): in-person interview with interim CIO (was supposed to be the final step and was expecting an offer here until ... )
Step 3 (5 weeks later): the parent company, IQVIA, on the fly and totally unexpected and unplanned decides to get involed at this point and wants me to fly out of state to their headquarters and interview with their senior staff as well, I refused
Step 3a: another phone call with the original Senior Technical Director
Step 4: skype call with IQVIA senior manager (who was completely unprepared (no fault of his own) and didn't even know what he was interviewing for)
Step 5: skype call with another IQVIA senior manager
Step 6: skype call with senior VP of systems development group
Final: after several weeks of no communcation, they finally responded with an abrupt "oh, we shuffled some people around internally and filled the role."
Long story short, after witnessing this nonsense first hand and also hearing that the team is millions of dollars over budget and almost a year late, this place is probably in quite a jam due to previous bad hires (at the CIO level, offhsore, and likely others), various bad decisions and practices, and corporate red tape and doesn't know how to get itself out of it effectively. Completely unprofessional with no regard for the candidate.
