I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (New York, NY)
Interview
Phone screen, phone interview, 3 back to back interviews at NYC office, FaceTime interview with mock cold call.
Throughout the entire process I was told my personality is a great fit for Indeed. After the mock cold call, they said I have some areas of opportunity for improvement, but the interviewer said he can tell I practiced hard to successfully complete this call. I didn’t receive the job because my cold call was “a little too weak”... As an organization that finds people jobs, it’s clear from my resume/ four previous interviews that I have no cold calling experience, so why even move me along in the process if the desired candidate can produce a strong cold call? I practiced for hours and really did my best. What happened to this amazing training program I was told about? If my personality was so desirable why didn’t you bring me on and train me? I don’t appreciate my time being wasted.
