I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Indeed in Sep 2020
Interview
The HR is nice and professional. I was offered to take the assessment. There are 5 questions on the assessment. Unfortunately, I didn't do well on the assessment, thus I didn't get the chance to the next step
I applied online. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX) in May 2021
Interview
Got an email from HR for phone screen invite. Unfortunately the email goes to junk folder. I found the 2nd attempt email when I was trying to clear the junk emails. No phone calls from HR, which means they don’t care about the efficiency and effectiveness of recruiting.
Then after the phone screen, I got the chance to talk to the hiring manager. No technical question, she just walked through the resume. Occasionally asked a couple of questions about the experience listed in the resume.
In an hour HR called, saying my experience was great and matched their requirements, but the HM decided to move on. To be honest, I don’t see the rationale here. However I appreciate HR’s prompt reaction.
The interview process seems not professional.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
1. Call with Recruiter
2. Technical Interview
3. Business interview
4. 4 hr interview (technical, business, technical, product interview.)
It's a long process in terms of time between interviews moves a little slowly for most jobs. Review all the questions on glass-door including these. Hope this helps. Good luck !!
