I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Washington, DC)
Interview
The interview process was very simple, the team lead for technicians scheduled a meeting with me. Asked me some basic questions about my experience, if I am able to work on site at very early hours, as well as some of the other expectations required from technicians. The process was simple compared to other companies which have multiple rounds of interviews just to get ghosted in the end.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Indianapolis, IN) in Dec 2025

Interview
manager teams interview about general role stack and salary, followed by another behavioral interview with a hiring manager about your prior experience, into a technical interview. It was a pretty standard process
I applied for the position because I randomly came across the posting. I am currently working full time but always looking for a change.
I received a phone call almost immediately, trying to ask me a bunch of questions. I mentioned I am currently working and would need to set something up via email. They then tried calling me 2 more times and sent 5 more emails. All within 24hrs. This put a very bad taste in my head that they are desperate. I devided not to proceed with the interview just based on this experince
