I applied online. I interviewed at KPMG (Kuching, Sarawak)
Interview
3 interviewers and 2 candidates and physical interview at the office. Interviewers were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The questions asked were fairly easy and smooth sailing. Offers were given a week after the interview
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Petaling Jaya) in Jun 2025
Interview
Applied on its website. 2 weeks after, hr call for screening (why audit, have you applied any other firms & their respond, did you apply previous internship company, do you play sport and are u the player, what audit program have you joined in uni). The call was random but you can prepare yourself in week2 after you submit application. Then, 2 weeks after got shortlisted and invitation for online assessment (psychometric assessment only). Then next week, on monday, hr called to shcedule physical interview on wednesday. There were 3 stages for physical interview; group case study, essay writing (have 5 topics, one of it was 'What kind of work that motivates you to get out of your bed in the morning'. choose 1 topic, no minimum words. given 30 mins to write), one-to-one interview. For group case study, the candidates divided into 2 groups and we had 15 mins preparation, 15 mins presentation and Q&A. The task was to convince 4 senior audit managers (they were act as shareholder) to invest in our protein drink product (given in the case study), then they will ask questions to candidates (this can be longer than you think). For one-to-one interview, there were 2 panels, 1st panel was nice and very calm, the other one was totally opposite, very stress, unfriendly, frustrated-face. They asked based on what you put in resume and what you've claimed as yourself. You claimed yourself as detail-oriented person? then prove it based on your job experience. then the next question they will relate it to audit nature work like how you handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines. Had bad experience for 1-to-1 interview and it ended just like that. No further question about why kpmg, why audit, double entries etc. 2 days after received the result. The whole process took 1 month.
