A brief video call with one of the KPMG manager. Typical interview questions to find out more about you and a technical question regarding accounting. However, this technical question was not standardised across various interviews and not everyone was asked a technical question. Thus, the interview experiences and the benchmark to choose candidates were unfair to start with.
I feel that KPMG was quite unprofessional in that they did not send out any rejection emails or eventually get back to candidates regarding the outcome to at least inform.
The interview is a one-step process. First is self-introduction, and then there will be a group discussion and presentation for about half an hour. Finally there is a manager/partner interview. The interview process was completed through online platform.
