The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Irvine, CA)
Interview
I was interviewed for a data scientist position. First round with hr and second round phone screening were ok. The onsite was a disaster. One interviewer was playing her cell phone throughout my 30min presentation; another was blinking his eye all the time. They did not seem to know a lot about machine learning. The questions they asked were simply copied from the internet, and I doubt that they know the right answers. The case studies were weird and stupid, and were absolutely not at the same level as cases that may be asked by other top consulting companies. I did not get an offer, but I would not accept it if I did.

Interview
I had a few phone conversations with the principal scientist and he gave me a mini-project to do over the course of a few days. The project was relevant for the position and actually very interesting. Once submitted we talked about my solution and I explained how it worked. The people I talked to were all personable and knowledgable.
