Very straightforward behavioural questions. Online interview process with two interviewers. One hour in length. Very professional questions. One interviewer asked a lot of follow up questions so be prepared to elaborate.
I applied online. I interviewed at KPMG in Jan 2019
Interview
Online Submission, Phone Screening Interview (about 15 minutes), Essay Assessment (General topics), Individual Face to Face Interview (3 to 1). One of them is from HR. They are really nice.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG
Interview
After completing the online tests, which were similar to those of all other audit practices, I had an online virtual internship. This was quite long, it lasted an hour and half for me and was made of up of scenario questions which you had to type or select answers for as well as a few recorded video answers.
After passing this stage I had a face to face video interview with an employee at the KPMG branch I applied to and this went really well. It was mainly made up of questions about how I would cope with making mistakes and or dealing with unfamiliar scenarios. My interviewer was really friendly and made the interview an enjoyable experience. It lasted for an hour or so but honestly felt like a matter of minutes and within a few seconds of the video call starting all nerves had vanished for me.
I was informed I passed this stage, but unfortunately due to coronavirus they had to close their internship applications shortly after so I did not receive an offer.
I will be applying again for a graduate role and the experience as a whole made me feel like KPMG would be a company I would like to work with.
