Question 1
What have you discovered about the state of the audit sector following the recent scandals?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapur) in Dec 2019
Interview
HR was quick to revert back on my follow ups and processed my application relatively quickly compared to another big 4 which is known for not responding at all. They were also quick to arrange an interview with the appropriate hiring managers for my rank (i.e. an audit manager & assistant manager). Interview questions were technical (expected) and not unreasonable. Hiring managers were upfront and honest on progression and promotion prospects for an experienced hired like me.

Question 1
Provide further detail on technical areas you were involved in your previous engagements in terms of how did you resolve them, what kind of help did you sought after and how did you apply your judgement to assess the complex areas.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Tysons Corner, VA)
Interview
Was interview with 4 people, 1 at a time, around 30 minutes each. Interviewers focused on behavioral/personality and what I expect out of the job and my goals. A couple questions based on resume and skills.
2 days later I was offered a downgraded job as an Associate and 10% less than a competing offer and 15% of what I asked for. Recruiter then badmouthed the company that offered me a job. Completely unprofessional. Will never consider KPMG again
