I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (London, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied online and got the recruiter to schedule a interview. It was a horrible interview and a complete waste of time. The interviewer called 40 minutes later than the scheduled time. The role was a technology consulting one in Financial transformations. He only asked for my technical experience for 15 minutes and concluded that I had no consulting experience. There were no deep dive questions on architecture, strategy, implementation etc. All the while he only wanted to push me to some other department. The reason is that they do not have any AI based technical projects or even data engineering projects I think. KPMG is not a technology company, no wonder they are trying to get into it. If you are technical and love technology avoid this company.

I applied online. I interviewed at KPMG in Aug 2015
Interview
Lengthy process, took 2 months. First recruiter conducted a phone interview, then put me in touch with 2 partners in my area of specialization. In-person interview and completed and I did not hear back for a while. It took almost 2 months before I knew the outcome.

Question 1
What can you bring to the table? Strengths and Weaknesses, Industry contacts
I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at KPMG (London, England)
Interview
Beware of what the internal recruiter tells you about the expectations for the roles. I was quite clear that I did not perform a particular function but during the interview the hiring manager wanted that particular skillset. A waste of time. Also the interview was rescheduled couple of times due without due consideration to the interviewee. Last of all the hiring manager was bureaucratic and power wielding, unprofessional. Wouldn't want to ever apply with the firm again.
