The process started with a call from a Talent Acquisition rep to discuss the role and gauge fit. Next, I had a more in-depth conversation with the Manager and Team Lead. The final round was a take-home challenge that I had to present. Overall, the flow was structured and professional, with clear expectations at each step.

The interview process was both friendly and structured. We had in-depth conversations about my past projects and my approach to solving UX challenges, as well as completing a test assignment. Question 1
One of the questions was something like: 'What would you do if users were confused by a specific part of a product and resources/time were limited?' I was asked to explain my thought process and how I would formulate a quick, realistic plan.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in Apr 2025
Interview
Super straightforward interview process. The hiring managers were super friendly and answered every question that I had about the company without hesitation. It's a 3-step process with the last interview being a mock call exercise. Pretty typical for a SDR/BDR position. Nothing too excessive or demanding is asked of the candidate, just enough for the company to properly assess the candidate's abilities for the role.
