Had to listen to a long audio file. The file was password protected and I kept emailing the HR recruiter to get the file reset. Even an hour before the interview i was calling the recruiter to get access.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Dec 2019
Interview
I applied on Linkedin. Received a call from recuiter after 3 days which I did not expect but was excited. Was told that they are rescheduling a phone screen and will get back to me. Hiring Manager called me for an interview out of the blue and I wasnt in the right environment to attend. Ofcourse I failed but the recruiter does not even know that I had the call which is surprising for a big organization like Linkedin.

Question 1
General about expertise and situations to handle. Interview was a easy and positive even though I wasnt given a headsup .
Huge fan of LinkedIn and former Microsoft employee. Recruiter reached out for initial chat and was very nice. Conversation went well until we got to pay LinkedIn was offering a salary that was literally a 40% drop in my current salary. Was really surprised that the overall comp package was so low. Conversation got a little weird after we went over numbers but ultimately we determined that the range would be too low. It would have been nice if LinkedIn asked for salary info ahead of time to ensure both parties are aligined on a range before spending 30 minutes on a call to only find that the salary would not work
