Unfortunately, LinkedIn appears to be prioritizing DEI initiatives over hiring the most qualified applicants. Despite meeting or even exceeding all the requirements for the open role I applied for, I was unable to secure an interview. I suspect that part of the issue may have been related to the fact that I included a picture of myself on my resume, which did not align with what LinkedIn was seeking.
