I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
The recruiter was incredibly helpful, and always followed up with me after each step. Everyone I met with was super friendly, and gave me a really positive impression of the company. I had 3 steps in the process, and felt I had a good opportunity to demonstrate my skills and experience.

Question 1
Why are you interested in an RM role instead of an AE role?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Mar 2022
Interview
It was ok, then it was TOXIC.
Initial interaction with LinkedIn recruiter went well. Very helpful conversation and initial screening - mostly questions about my experience. After this, the recruiter invited me to interview with the hiring manager; she even sent me links to help me prepare for the case interview portion of the upcoming conversation with the hiring manager.
The interview with the hiring manager was maybe the worst I have experienced as a seasoned professional. I could immediately tell the hiring manager was uncomfortable (body language, tone, types of questions).
I was only asked very basic things (e.g., why I am interested in this role; what experience do I have in program management). I was never provided the case interview questions. I was kind but for some reason, the hiring manager answered in a condescending and pretentious tone most of the time reiterating that the candidate would need to be able to learn and get to work quickly - as if there was doubt that I would be able and willing to do that? She also made it clear that there is no one to help the new person navigate- which is like, basic onboarding. (The pattern here is that I was practically being deterred from considering this role - ??). Well it worked. I withdrew my application.
LinkedIn: please don’t interview people you do not intend to give a fair shot. Train your execs on inclusive hiring practices . Lastly, find some other way to meet your diversity interview goals.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that you managed a major project.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
(1) 30min recruiter phone screen
(1) 60min technical
--Virtual onsite
The recruiter I spoke with was very kind and we had a good conversation. Was recommended for the next round which is a technical phone screen. After a week without a response from the recruiter to setup the phone screen I reached out, and several days later I was sent an email to schedule the screen.
The email contained info regarding the phone screen and what to expect...which was for a front-end javascript based senior level technical phone screen. So I spent a week studying all about vanilla JS after reading about how the front-end screen is much different compared to the standard (2) leetcode question screen normally given.
The phone screen then ended up being the typical (1) easy leetcoe (1) medium leetcode interview (over zoom video btw, so camera's on!).
I solved the questions, though was definitely tripped up expecting javascript/html/css front-end based questions.
The recruiter never got back to me, and after following up I was ghosted. The experience was very disorganized, and disappointing. Linkedin is somewhere I'd definitely like to work, and will try again. I guess that is just how it goes sometimes though I had hoped for a more professional interview experience. Google and Amazon have been by far the most professional in my recent search.
