I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn
Interview
One of the best interview experiences I've had. Everyone that interviewed me was super professional, patient, and knowledgable.
I went through an initial technical via the recruiter that found me on LinkedIn, then a programming exercise, then another phone technical about several system level scenarios. Lastly, I was asked to come for a personal one-on-one.
After every interview, the recruiter called me back right away to let me know how I did.
Though I got another offer from another company before the last interview, I had a wonderful experience through the entire process. I would have accepted an offer, if given.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Mountain View, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Applied online, Got a 1 hr phone interview, Asked to code on collabedit. It was average difficulty question and easy to code, I could finish coding 3 questions in 20-30 min and interviewer ran out the question then we discussed about the position requirement.
But I got rejection in 2 days irrespective of I performed very well in an Interview , coded all questions correctly even confirmed by Interviewer but I got rejection because I could not ask more question details to interviewer and directly jumped to coding.
that's I did not like, Interviewer did test my code with his inputs but could not found any bug but still he was not happy with me and eventually rejected me because of his ego. I would have not expected from Linkedin this
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin) in Jul 2016
Interview
Had an initial screening interview and then an interview with a manager. After the latter I have not received any response. And it is not something that one can expect from a company like that. Quite a negative experience
