I had a disappointing interview experience with LinkedIn. The hiring manager displayed disinterest and rudeness throughout the interview, accompanied by unprofessional facial expressions. It felt like they were looking for a very specific type of candidate, which made the atmosphere unwelcoming for diverse applicants. When I asked for feedback, the manager stated there was none available, which was disappointing as constructive feedback could have been valuable for future interviews. LinkedIn's reputation led me to expect better professionalism and inclusivity during the hiring process, and this experience fell short of those expectations.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in May 2023
Interview
Hard to get interview unless you have a networking connection or a recruiter reaches out. Asked pretty specific STAR model questions. Moreover want someone with lots of sales experience. The recruiter was very personable and helpful.
