I competed an assessment online then after 2 days I got emailed to book an interview. It was in branch with one of the managers which lasted 30min. She asked questions was very friendly made it more of a conversation than interview and at the end she stated one of her colleagues family member applied too to work at the branch so it was obvious I won’t get the job. A bit of a shame considering I have been a customer for 8 years at the bank and had more previous experience than this job would require.

Tell me a time you went above and beyond for a customer. How do you use a different language to your advantage in the job role (trick question) What does trust mean and how would you gain the trust of my employees?

Technical interview with standard technical questions, I was asked to look at a piece of code and explain it and other generic questions about my soft skills and my strengths and weaknesses

Was very quick and simple. Pre screening interview from assessment centre within a week. There is quite a few stages but expected. Online application, online test, pre screening, assessment centre, final interview.
