Interview
Applied online via Lloyd’s. Easy application form with a question asking what you can bring to Lloyd’s. A few days after I received an email inviting me to the assessment centre.
The assessment centre - one on one interview - Competency based questions. I prepared for these and felt like I was repeating myself on several occasions with the type of questions they asked. Even though I fully explained each scenario in depth. One question I wasn’t happy with is - do you have any children? This has nothing to do with my suitability for the role so I’m not sure why they asked.
Then went onto a written exercise where I replied in letter form to a customer. Pretty easy stuff.
Lasted around 90 minutes altogether. All in all I felt like it was a good interview even though I didn’t get an offer of employment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a time where there was conflict in a work place.
Tell me a time where there was a change in a workplace that you needed to adapt
Why do you want to work for Lloyd’s
Tell me a time where you went above and beyond for a customer
Do you have any children (totally unacceptable question to ask!)

Interview
Asked basic interview question, the interviewer was OK, seemed like he didnt care about my answer though it was OK. The wait for the interview was long and it felt like i wasnt there for an interview but like i was the bad person being overwhelmed with questions.
