I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's (Sacramento, CA) in May 2013
Interview
I applied online and after a few weeks was emailed to set up my interview. When I arrived (15 minutes early) I was the only one there. When my interviewer arrived he took me into a room and we began. He basically read off of a paper and made notes as we went along. The questions were standard, but definitely focused on how much I knew about cosmetics and how I would go about helping a customer. Overall decent experience, but I was told the position was no longer available. He instead put me down to be contacted if any other positions in any other department of Macy's were to come up.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Tampa, FL) in May 2013
Interview
Submitted my application online and recieved an email asking me to come in for an interview the next morning. The interview was with Macy's HR. Avoid wearing black because if you do you'll look exactly like the employees. The interview was in the conference room because the interview room was being used. I thought the interview went very well, however, it was ultimately up the the cosmetics manager on whether I got the job, but I was not to meet with her in person. The lady from HR was very friendly and the interview only lasted about 10 minutes. At the end she asked me for a copy of my resume and if I was interested in working in a different department.

Question 1
If you learned that one of your co-workers recieved more responsibilities than you and you felt that you were deserving of those extra responsibilities, how would you react? What would you do?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Macy's (Orlando, FL) in Apr 2011
Interview
I filled out an application online and received an phone call a few weeks later followed by an e-mail to confirm the time of the interview. I was interviewed by the Cosmetics manager who took me into an office and interviewed me briefly. The questions were based mainly on my back round. Then I had to do a phone interview for the specific cosmetics line I would be working for which I did not "pass" apparently. The Cosmetics manager however still wanted to hire me so I started in another department temporarily until something opened up in a line I really wanted to be in. I skipped the third interview with the store manager because the Cosmetics manager vouched for me.
