Macy's Beauty Advisor interview questions

I had an interview today with Macy's for Beauty Advisor. I as so scared because I have been in the Navy for 8 years so i have never went on a Job Interveiw so i was so scared. I wore some Black pants a Lace like shirt and a blazer from Goodwill. I arrived 15 minutes early because on time is late... I was called back for the interveiw she let me know that the questions she was going to ask me where generalized questions Macys ask everyone. I cant really remember them but nothing to bad question like do you feel comfortable putting on people's make up? How will you make a customer come back to you? After the interveiw she told me the position was not advaible. So I felt defeated an kinda upset but she told me that she would bench me for other positions if i was willing to work in another department. I told her that i would work in another department she told me the interveiw was over and i would hear somthing within a couple weeks. I felt like it was one of those dont call me well call you situations. So i was walking to my car and Macys called me back and asked if i was still in the parking lot i said yes, she told me i can work full time in retail if i wanted the job i said heck yeah lol. They told me to come back in fill out some paper work and i have orintation on friday. Blessed is all i can say i prayed for the job in the car they called right after my Prayer.

I was interviewed last week and I thought I did great the general manager kept saying great answer. Then I got an email yesterday saying there wasn't a job available for the job interview I took. What a wast of time, I would call ahead to make sure the job is actually open.
