Macy's Beauty Advisor interview questions

Applied online, received an email scheduling an interview. When arriving to the interview there were several other girls. Some being interviewed for the same position as me & others for different positions. I wore black pants, a blazer, and high heels. Compared to the other girls I was over dressed. I saw a girl in jeans. I arrived 15 minutes early but the hiring manager was late so I ended up waiting 30 minutes to be interviewed. All that time waiting I was noticing my surroundings. A coworker walked in with a dilemma. She said one day when she was working boxes fell on her and broke her glasses. I guess they were suppose to provide her the funds so she can get new glasses. She never got the funds & came their to set things straight. Also, a benefits cosmetic beauty adviser walked in. She had on black tights and a short black shirt. Not to mentions her arms were covered with tattoos. I thought to myself if this girl can get the job, why not me? It was a one on one interview. They ask pretty basic question. How would you deal with an environment that involved change, what are some of your favorite brands and why? How would you get a customer to come back to you specifically. I thought I had it in the bag. The hiring manager said we would contact you POTENTIALLY for a 2nd interview. He also said weather I got the job or not I would get an email notifying me. I followed up by calling the human resources office asking about the status of my interview. She wrote down my name & said she would tell the hiring manager I called. I called back twice. I never heard back from them. & never received an email notifying regardless of whether I got the position or not.
