I applied online. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer in Jul 2013
Interview
Made of 3 parts, role play, an analytical presentation and a competency based interview. The role play was a coaching exercise and was to do with how you would deal with an awkward employee who was older. The employee was refusing to work any extra hours and would only work on a particular department.
I applied online. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (London, England) in Feb 2015
Interview
They had done role play with one assistant pretending to be a customer and I was a customer assistant. I would have to choose for suitable alternatives. I would then have to fill in a form to say how I had done and what I could have done differently.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Livingston, Schottland) in Nov 2015
Interview
Routine interview questions, friendly interviewer, clear outline of duties and working values. I had to make sure I had all personal details with me, including name address, proof of ID, bank details. The process was relatively straightforward and you are informed of the benefits with the job. The date of the end of employment was highlighted which was useful to know for a temporary position, and that overtime was offered continuously.
