What are my strengths and weaknesses in my opinion
I applied online. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (London, England) in Dec 2011
Interview
Process consisted of extensive online tests, followed by a phone interview and assessment day. The assessment day was well organised and lead by managers in relevant business areas. Those carrying out the interview were professional and made you feel at ease; overall a good experience. Feedback was offered as a follow up.

Group acitivity, individual activity, presentation, interview
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Macclesfield, England) in Aug 2015
Interview
Firstly I applied online, it was a scenario type assessment where I had to describe what actions I would take in certain circumstances to do with customer service. It took about 20 minutes to complete. After I completed this I was straight away offered an interview at my local store and asked to book a date and time slot in which my interview would take place. My interview was in 3 days time. When I attended the interview I went to the customer service desk and then I was taken upstairs to a small office by a man. In the small office was a woman and she ran through the instructions of the role play activity I was to complete as part of the task. The man and the woman then left the room whilst I read the scenario my role play would be based around. After about 5 minutes the man and the woman came back in the room and the man was acting as a customer needing help whilst the woman observed and took notes. I felt like the questions the 'customer' was asking me were completely ridiculous as he was asking me which champagne I would recommend which I couldn't answer as I'm 18 and have no clue! Thanks to my nervousness and 'lack of interaction' with the customer I didn't make it through to the interview questions bit so really the interviewers knew nothing about me. Very weird way to interview a person should really get to know the interviewee before making them do the role play in my opinion.
