The recruiter acted as if he was walking through checklist, which I’m sure he was. There is no interest in me whatsoever as a person, and I didn’t feel like it would be a good culture
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meta in Aug 2024
Interview
The interviewers expect you to reveal private information about your work during your interview. I answered as much as possible however they were not satisfied and got rejected in the end.
When other interviewers will be happy you are prepared, in Meta, you will be met with skepticism. They give you the kind of untrustful vibe like why am I so prepared and giving model answers and try to dig too much private information. It gave me nightmares about working in SMEs. The culture is very off, not american.
Recruiter was very kind, truly. When I commented on this to her, she was kind of shocked too. but as the recruiter, she has to back the company. Understandably so.

Question 1
Tell me about a project where you improved something at work
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (London, England)
Interview
Initial phone screen with recruiter, HR interview, then full loop on market knowledge, working at META and critical thinking. On the full loop, good market interview , working at META interviewer was not prepared and clearly had to be somewhere and did not really seem to follow a logical interview process and very random. The critical thinking interviewer clearly came from an engineering background and was more interested in technical aspects of my knowledge (e.g what platform I use for time management and its technical specs). I believe they were looking beyond the cultural fit with META and it was highly tuned to attract someone who could fit with the specific team sharing same background as I found all team members had a thread connecting them which made it hard for anyone outside that click to join. No feedback received.
