Interview
The whole process took about 1 month. And it was a great experience from start to finish, after applying about a week later a recruiter emailed me to setup a interview time. I selected a day/ time on a calendar, the first interview was over the phone. I was asked about my work history ( the company focuses on the STAR method and metrics). After the interview you receive constructive criticism/ feedback on ways to improve your interview skills overall. I had two more interviews about two weeks after the first. I did my part in learning more about the company/culture prior to.
Facebook has a very proactive way of approaching potential candidates. I didn’t feel like I was being drilled, everyone I spoke with was very informative, knowledgeable, respectful, and direct.
I have to say that in the beginning of course I was excited about a opportunity to work for Facebook. But once I started connecting/ interviewing with different employees FB’s culture and mission was something everyone embraces. The people within the company embrace and support you and that means a lot to me.
